Marrakesh Ltd was founded by Tony and Lena Lawlor in 1983 and originally operated as a quarry. By the late 1990s, the company recognised the growing need for responsible waste management in the construction industry and began shifting its focus toward sustainable solutions.

In 2000, we secured our EPA licence for an inert C&D landfill—marking the beginning of our journey into recycling and resource recovery. Since then, we’ve continually invested in advanced screening, crushing, and grading technologies to produce the highest-quality recycled construction materials.

In 2020, our dedication to quality and innovation was recognised when Marrakesh Ltd became the first company in the county to receive NSAI certification for crushed concrete.

Today, our mission remains the same: to protect the environment, support our local community, and help businesses build more sustainably—one project at a time.
