Licensed Waste Facility

From the time that we applied for our EPA license in 1998, we have continued to invest heavily in the technology and the machinery to ensure that the materials that we recycled at our EPA facility are to a high standard. From when materials enter our facility it is the start of the process of turning a waste into a viable product. Materials are checked, sorted, graded, screened, and crushed to ensure the highest of practices.

Every ton of material is recorded, whether it is entering or leaving our facility. This is so that we can ensure that only the correct materials are entering our facility. We were delighted in 2020 to receive accreditation of certification from the National Standard Authority Ireland (NSAI) for our crushed concrete for use as a 6F2 and a clause 803 material.

All Waste Facility Permits are restricted to a maximum of 5 years and have some of the restrictions but not all of the same restrictions the EPA license has. The waste facility permits that we tend to operate for the recovery of lands, to improve lands so they would only accept clean clay and stone, subsoil and topsoil.

This is so that we can ensure that only the correct materials are entering our facility and for traceability of all the recycled materials leaving our facility.
